Roy joined Manulife in March 2015 as President and Chief Executive Officer, Manulife Asia, where he led the acceleration of the Company’s growth and the strengthening of its competitive position in the region.
Prior to joining Manulife, Roy was Head of Consumer Banking and Regional Head of Retail Banking for Asia Pacific at Citigroup where he was responsible for the company’s insurance and wealth management businesses and its Asia Pacific Sales and Distribution organization. A native Aussie, Roy has worked and lived in Sydney, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. He’s now based in Toronto.
