Speaking Sessions:

No More Excuses. Let's Fix This Thing.

Wednesday, June 19 @ 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM Stage A

In the early days of the big tech platforms, the founders didn’t really understand what they were building. Meanwhile, in the rush to sign up for their products, we clicked “Yes” to terms-of-service agreements we never read, making deals we didn’t understand. And here we are.

Tech writer and author Kara Swisher – described by New York magazine as “Silicon Valley’s most feared and well-liked journalist,” will deliver a call-to-arms to demand a safe, fair and transparent online experience for everyone – to take back our privacy, hold companies responsible for what’s on their platforms and force elected officials act in the public interest.
