We live in a 24/7 world where we’re more connected than we’ve ever been. A world where the very people who are making the technology don't want their own kids to use it. A world where digital addiction is very real. This session will examine how we got to a place where online friends, Instagram likes and troll comments matter more than the real world friends we’ve known all our lives.
Duane will touch on his own life experience as a digital native, running an ad agency and fighting digital exhaustion. He'll share his tips for staring at screens less, finding a hobby and making sure that we aren’t defined by our jobs. But to give up an addictive lifestyle, you have to find out who you really are again. This talk is a love letter to every attendee who just wanted more time with the people they truly care about.
