Speaking Session:

All Together Now: Solving Global Problems Across Sectors

Thursday, June 20 @ 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Stage A

In a world facing large-scale challenges, it’s easy to overlook the work others are doing to meet them. The tools, data and know-how to solve big problems often already exist, but a lack of collaboration across sectors stifles awareness and stalls progress. In this moderated discussion, three top experts will talk about how we can accelerate solutions to big, global problems by building meaningful partnerships between business, government, venture and philanthropic players.

As Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Digital Service (CDS), Aaron Snow leads the Canadian Government’s newest digital team in its ambitious mandate to improve federal service delivery.

Before CDS, Aaron was a Presidential Innovation Fellow under President Barack Obama, and then co-founded 18F, the U.S. government’s in-house digital consultancy. Before his government service, Aaron was co-founder of Daring Software, a practicing litigator and a program manager at Microsoft. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the OpenGov Foundation.
